Fitosoil is collaborating in the validation study organised by the CEN technical committee TC 455/WG4 for the determination of the total content of Cd, Pb, Ni, As, Cr, Cu, Zn in plant biostimulants after digestion in aqua regia.
This study has been organised by the Central Institute for Supervising and Testing in Agriculture Hroznova 63/2, CZ - 603 00 Brno Czech Republic and consists of three parts:
- Part 1: Aqua Regia digestion for subsequent determination of elements in biostimulants.
- Part 2: Determination of the total content of Cd, Pb, Ni, As, Cr, Cu and Zn by ICP-OES or ICP-MS.
- Part 3: Determination of mercury using the cold vapour technique by AA, ICP-OES or ICP-MS.
Fitosoil participates as an expert laboratory due to its extensive experience in performing these types of tests on matrices such as fertiliser products, soils, sludge, slurries, sediments, solid waste, crop substrates and foodstuffs. These tests are backed by a rigorous quality system that complies with the requirements of accreditation under standard 17025, as can be seen in its scope of accreditation.
